About

128kb is an online exhibition space and initiative, exploring and celebrating Creative Coding within tight technical limitations.

How to build a lean, sustainable, scalable and value-driven social network for the global creative coding community? That’s was the initial question behind this platform. It is inspired and driven by broader concepts like the Demoscene, Permacomputing, Low Tech, Computational Aesthetics, Slow Media, Critical Engineering and Platform Independence.

The project was initiated by Tim Rodenbröker in 2024 and is part of his community trcc and his activities as a professor at Elisava’s “Master in Design for Digital Experimentation”.
